Introducing
a New Quarantine Report and Webmail Service by ModusMail
We are
pleased to announce advancements in the email service that you receive from
Hamilton County Communications! Beginning March 10, 2010, we will transition to
a new Quarantine Report and Webmail service powered by ModusMail. This new
software will simplify and enhance your experience with our email services.
Please see the sections below for summaries of this change.
Transition
Date March 10, 2010:
This
transition will require that we shut down the current email server and transfer
email files to the new ModusMail server. We recommend that you open your email
application and download all emails first thing that morning as there will be
unavoidable email delays once the transition begins.
March 11,
2010:
We will send
you a new Quarantine Report by email that will replace the current Postini email
that you receive today. Instead of an alert that you have suspicious email to
review, the new email will provide you the ability to review and either release
or delete the quarantined junk mail from within this email.
NO CHANGES
to Your Email Software Settings:
This
implementation process does NOT require you to make changes to your email
software settings for Outlook, Outlook Express, or other email software.
Accessing
Email from the Internet via Our Webmail Page:
ModusMail
will also change the look and operation of our Webmail page on the Internet. You
will still be required to logon and provide your password, but now you will have
a much better tool for viewing your email from the Internet. However,
please note that this transition will erase your address book in Webmail
only, not in Outlook, Outlook Express, etc., so you may want to copy them off
prior to the transition. We apologize for this inconvenience, but it could not
be avoided.

We are
confident that you will enjoy the simplicity and convenience of the Quarantine
Report and Webmail service powered by ModusMail. To help facilitate your
learning we will send you an email with a link to the instructions from our
website, or you can access them easily by clicking
ModusMail Software Instructions on the front page. If you are not
familiar with checking email from Webmail, the instructions will help you to
understand this convenient feature. It is a great way to check your email when
you are away from home.
